Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education is going to conduct annual regular exams in union territory of Jammu and Kashmir and union territory of Ladakh. Class 10th exam in soft zones as well as in hard zones is starting from second and third week of February respectively. Introduction:
The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) is a primary school board responsible for conducting regular and private exams in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh for class 10th, class 11th and class 12th. The board conducts two main exams annually for classes 10th, 11th and 12th. Board first conducts Annual Regular exam and then board conducts Bi-annual exam.
Exam pattern:
JKBOSE Class 10th General Science question paper is divided into 4 sections, Section A, Section B, Section C, Section D. The Section A has 18 multiple choice questions each of 01 mark. Section B contains 10 very short answer question each of 2 marks. Also the Section C has 9 short answer questions with internal choice each of 3 marks. And the last section is Section D which is a long answer type section. It contains 03 long answer questions with internal choice each of 05 marks.
Highlights:
- Long answer questions: 3 questions × 5 marks = 15 marks (with internal choice)
- Short answer questions: 9 questions × 3 marks = 27 marks (with internal choice)
- Very short answer questions: 10 questions × 2 marks = 20 marks
- Multiple choice questions: 18 questions × 1 mark = 18 marks
