The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) Undergraduate (UG) is a common uniform exam for admission in various medical courses in all government and private medical colleges of India.

Introduction:
The NEET (UG) is a common and uniform for admission to undergraduate medical education in all medical institutions. The NEET (UG)-2025 scores and merit list will also apply for admissions to BDS and BVSe & Alf courses as followed in the past in accordance with the rules governed by respective regulatory bodies.
The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) is compulsory for admission to undergraduate courses in BAMS, BUMS, and BSMS within the Indian System of Medicine across all medical institutions under the governing act. NEET UG is also required for admission to the BHMS course under the National Commission for Homeopathy.
NEET (UG) 2025: Exam Date
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened online application forms for NEET (UG) 2025. Candidates can now apply for NEET (UG) on official website of NEET.
The examination of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate), [NEET (UG)] 2025 will be conducted on 04th May 2025. The total exam duration will be 180 minutes that is 3 hours. Exam will start from 2:00pm (IST) and will end on 5:00pm(IST).

The NTA opened online application form portal for NEET (UG) exam on 07th of February 2025 and the last date of submission of online application form is 07 March 2025 (up to 11:50 PM. The application fee for General Category students will be ₹1700, General-EWS/OBC-NCL will be ₹1600, and for SC/ST/PWBD/Third Gender the application fee will be ₹1000. Application fee for NRI students will be ₹9,300.
