Srinagar, Apr 30: In a significant development, the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (BOSE) is likely to announce the result of class 10th examination by tonight.

Talking to top news agencies Greater Kashmir, a senior official of JKBOSE said they are trying to declare the class 10th result tonight.

“The result of Kashmir division is complete while some final touches are to be given to result of Jammu division. So all are working on it and will declare the result tonight,” the JKBOSE official said.

He said around 1.33 lac students appeared in the class 10th examination and pass percentage is expected between 73 to 74 percent.

“We are also in touch with service providers. We have hired some private networks through nic and are ready to declare the result tonight. Most probably the result will be declared by 10pm,” he said.

Notably, it is for the first time that JKBOSE will declare the result of two classes on the same day that too within a time bound manner.

All the concerned staff worked hard to make it possible. If everything goes well, the result will be declared tonight,” Secretary JKBOSE G H Sheikh told Greater Kashmir.
