Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) is conducting Annual Regular Exam of class 10th in hard zone and soft zone areas of UT’s Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir respectively. Students are currently preparing for exams, and for best scores, hard work along with smart work is necessary for students. In this post, we will provide JKBOSE 10th Class Science Guess Paper for session 2024-25.
The annual regular exams of session 2024-25 started from 15th of February in soft zone areas of Jammu and Kashmir. In hard zone areas, regular exams started from 21st of February 2025.
Introduction:
The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education commonly known as JKBOSE is a primary school board in union territory of Jammu & Kashmir and union territory of Ladakh. JKBOSE conducts Annual Regular Exams and Bi Annual Exams for classes 10th, 11th, and 12th.

JKBOSE 10th Science Guess Paper: Importance

JKBOSE 10th Science: Exam pattern.
The JKBOSE class 10th science exam is divided into parts, Theory exam (External exam), it’s conducted by Board in different exam centers. Internal Assessment is conducted by school itself. Theory part carry 80 marks and Internal Assessment carry 20 marks.
Question Paper pattern:
Theory paper of Science have 80 marks spread over one single question paper containing three sections, Section – I based on the syllabus of Physics, Section – II based on the syllabus of Chemistry and Section – III based on the syllabus of Biology having a weightage of 80 marks and total duration of 3 hours.
- Section I (Physics) : 26 marks
- Section II (Chemistry) : 26 marks
- Section III (Biology) : 28 marks
Each section shall contain
(i) 03 long answer questions with internal choice each of 05 marks 3 x 5 = 15 marks
(ii) 09 short answer questions with internal choice each of 03 marks 9 x 3 = 27 marks
(iii) 10 very short answer question each of 02 marks 10 x 2 = 20 marks
(iv) 18 multiple choice questions each of 01 mark 18 x 1 = 18 marks
Total marks for Physics, Chemistry and Biology Sections: 80 marks
10th Class Science Guess Paper: Highlights
The Class 10th General Science Guess paper is based on previously frequently asked questions by JKBOSE in exams. Guess paper also contains additional questions which maybe asked in this exam. The Guess Paper has four sections and each section is made as per paper pattern.
First section contains a large number of Multiple Choice Questions, previously asked in exams and posible important multiple questions. Then guess paper has Section II, which contains over 30 to 40 questions. Section III is short answer type question section and guess paper has given 20+ important questions for exam. Last section is long answer type question section, the guess paper contains 20 to 30 expected questions for exam.
