The Jammu and Kashmir Board of school of education is going to conduct annual regular exam for class 10th from second week of February. As per the official date sheet released by board the regular exam in soft zones of union territory of Jammu and Kashmir will start from 15th of February. Also the Annual Regular examination of class 10th in hard zones will start from 21st of February. Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) is a primary board responsible for conducting exams for class 10th, class 11th and class 12th in union territory of Jammu & Kashmir and union territory of Ladakh. Furthermore, JKBOSE is a main board for school education in union territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.

JKBOSE Class 10th Question papers pattern:

General English:

General English has total 100 marks however, 80 marks are for theory paper and 20 marks are given to internal assessment.

Question papers is divided into four section such as Section A, Section B, Section C and Section D. The Section A has 15 marks, Section B has 10 marks, Section C has 25 marks and Section D has 30 marks.

Mathematics:

Math subject has total 100 marks out of which 80 marks are external and 20 marks internal.

Chapter wise marks:

Science:

Science question paper is divided into three sections, Section A (Physics), Section B (Chemistry) and Section D (Biology). Section A has 26 marks, Section B has 26 marks and Section C has 28 marks.

Question paper contains 3 long answer type questions, each question has 5 marks, 9 short answer type questions each question has 3 marks, 10 very short answer type questions each question contains 2 marks and 18 multiple choice questions each of 1 marks.
